Automotive Parts Specialist/Office Assistant

Summary

Torque Classic Cars, a locally owned and operated vintage auto restoration shop located in West Palm Beach, FL, is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Specialist/Office Assistant to join their team.  If you are a self starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.

Essential Functions

  • Purchasing--Online, phone and in person
  • Creating and tracking Purchase Orders
  • Data Entry into shop operating system and QuickBooks
  • Receiving of parts
  • Inventory Management
  • Creating customer invoices in QuickBooks
  • Collecting and posting payments from customers; processing credit card payments
  • Job Costing
  • General office duties

Required Competencies and Experience

  • 3 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel and Word
  • Customer Service experience
  • High school diploma (some college is preferred)
  • Valid license with clean driving record
  • Bi-lingual a plus but not necessary
